10 gal batch, diffrent colors?

I brewed a ten gallon batch of nb american wheat a week ago. split the batch into two different carboys. after a week of fermenting, they are different colors. What causes this and can I or should I some how blend the two to make a consistent flavor/visual profile? I'm just trying to avoid the inevitable SWMBO saying "I liked the first keg better".

 

Hard to say.. was it an all grain batch, did you have to top off with water to reach volume? did one get all the break material?

 

I started a very similar thread a few days ago but the responses i got were pretty much that I was crazy and didnt need to blend them heh... so i didnt. But I do have half in bottles and half in keg so if they do taste or look different that will be my reason to my friends.

 

It was all-grain and I did not top it off with water. I assume one did have more break material just because it was the last one siphoned from the pot. I think I'm going to siphon half the carboy in to each keg and then repeat. simple solution.
