I just finished lining my 10 gal Rubbermaid cooler with stainless and noted that the outlet is about a half inch higher that before. My copper manifold used to come straight out of the outlet and angle down to the bottom of the tun at the end. Now I put in a 90 off the outlet and another 90 so the manifold sits flat on the bottom of the tun. Looks clean but now that I've assembled everything I feel like, in the back of my mind, that i remember thinking that the flow should be as straight as possible? Will those two 90 degree bends mess the flow up while I'm (batch) sparging? Any thoughts guys?
