Steam injected mash system

A steam injection system is one method of controlling the temperature of a mash. The system works by pushing steam (usually generated in a stovetop pressure cooker) through a copper manifold and directly into the mash. This provides an efficient method of heating a mash without the caramelization associated with a direct heating element.
