This article discusses a specific variety of hops. For general information about selecting, using or propogating hops, see the main hop page
Eroica is a high-alpha hop derived from Brewer's Gold, selected in Idaho in 1968. This was a very popular general purpose bittering hop with a clean bittering profile, but has gradually been replaced by Galena and is now generally no longer commercially available.
