Large shallow wart cooling vessel, 20-30cm deep, usually made from copper. The hot wart is sprayed in, aerating it in the process, then let to air cool. Trub settles out as the cool break occurs and once the correct temperature is reached the cool wart is drained off to the fermenting vessel. More info
