I brewed this on 3/19/10. I bottled it today 6/16/10. How did yours turn out. I did mine slightly different, rather than cane sugar I used Dark Belgian Candy Sugar. I since have learned that the sugar was probably to help dry it out a bit, dont know if the belgian will have the same effect.
Also, I did a 2.5 Gallon batch (3 but 2.5 bottled). I meant to only use half the thing of Belgian Candi Sugar, but spaced it and put the whole thing in. I forget my OG, but wow this is so strong right now it has an alch burn. Should smooth some over the next few months.
So anyone that did this one, how did it turn out? OP if you're still around what did you think? Also did it have the burn? If so at what age did it smooth?
