I have a half galon of some home brew hard apple cider in my fridge , it tasts ok but i want to spark it up , i was thinking of adding some consentrated apple juice to sweeten it and then a small amount of yeast to carbonate it... how much yeast will i need to carbonate this ... i wanted to bottle it in beer bottles.
let it ferment agean? ... i can do that... thats not a problem .. i dont want the flaver to change much just a little sweeter and bubbly. can i use the consentrated apple juice as my primer then bottle?...
i was thinking like 1/4 tsp yeast , 1/4 cup apple juice consentrate
let it sit for an hour or so at 68f then bottle and age for 1-2 days.
then cold rack to the fridge. and drink verry quickly before they blow.
im just bored ... didnt make it to the LHBS this weekend as planed.
