Default Achievers!

So, as most of my friends will tell you, I'm an annoyingly HUGE fan of The Big Lebowski. That being said, anytime I offer someone one of my home brews, I ask them if they'd like an "Oat Soda". I like the term "oat soda" so much, I name all my beers as such. Examples: Valley Road Amber Oat Soda, or Valley Road India Oat Soda. Any other achievers out there? Pretty fun to say, too...Oat Soda!!!

Hmm. Never heard that one before. I know what movie you are referring to, but I don't think I've seen the whole thing. I guess probably not, since so many people quote it. Oat soda is kind of funny though.

Kinda reminds me of that Primus album, "Pork Soda". Bottle of Swine?

"You're out of your element, Donny!"

We got a guy at work who refers to beer in its various forms as "barley pop".

I kinda like that one.

A buddy of mine and I usually refer to beer as "barleypop"

Me: "Jimbo, you want a barleypop?"

Jim: "Always"

Yeah, we called 'em "Road Sodas" back in High School. Back when you only had to be 18 to buy Road Sodas.
