Long story short....
I'm brewing my first pilsner (2nd batch ever)
My yeast didn't take off (my fault)
I gave it about 2 weeks to see if it would eventually start up. No luck.

This is what I did...

I added a Saflager S-23 yeast to it last night after rehydrating it and it seemed to be going pretty decently this morning. I'll check the gravity in a few days.
I used a a Wyeast 2007 initially. LHBS didn't have any Wyeast left.

Will I be ok?

Yep; most likely. This is why starters are always a good idea, even for dry yeast. But I ran into this same problem myself a couple of times. That was several years ago when I didn't make starters. I did what you did and they beer turned out fine.

You will be fine. Nothing wrong with repitching another yeast if the first one does not turn out to be viable.

I should add that I did get some fermentation (visible krauzen and foam etc.)

OG was 1.052 and it has dropped to about 1.047 or so after 2 weeks but it seemed to be stuck there.
I checked the gravity last night before pitching the Saflager and I'll check it again in a few days.
