Default just wondering about infection..

Why doesn't the alcohol in beer kill off any potentially infectious little organisms? Anyone ever wondered this?

Just a thought, because I am bored and at work.

it does. just sometimes due to poor handling of your beer, it can't kill off everything which leads to an infected batch.

I would think the alcohol content is too low to do so. Which is why bacterial soap is 70% or higher
