One thing I would recommend (personal preference). While everyone on HBT knows how to find those recipes, someone coming to your site that isn't an HBT member wont. I prefer to know the recipe of a kit that I am buying. I suggest listing the ingredients for the recipes so a customer knows what he is buying.

It is your prerogative whether or not to do that, and I don't know what your agreement with Ed is, but I am hesitant to buy a kit without knowing what the recipe consists of.
+1

Part of the point of brewing kits is learning. If you don't know what's in a kit, ya don't learn a thing...

That Rye IPA seems quite interesting.

I totally agree with you. Ask and you shall receive. All Bee Cave Brewery kits now have the recipe listed. Just to save some people time, the price of the individual ingredients is more than the price of the kit for all of the recipes.

Thank you for the feedback,

Ed

Congrats EdWort!

Any chance the Bee Cave brews are going to be offered in an extract version?

There is a chance as some of the recipe have an extract version, but most use munich extract. I am looking for a good supplier of munich extract so that I can convert all of the recipes properly.

Thanks,

Ed

Pretty cool stuff - I have another suggestion, not sure if its a good one or not though, so take it or leave it.

It would be super cool if when you order a kit you could "expand" it in the cart such that it adds all of the components individually. That way I could order say, EdWort's IPA, but remove the base grains that I buy in 50lb sacks.

It could be that most people buy specialty grains in large increments though so that nobody else would find this useful.

At some point the recipes will open up into the Brew Builder and then you can remove any ingredients you want and purchase the remaining with 1 click. This is still being developed but should hopefully happen soon.

Ed
