I want to have all, or almost all PET beer bottles. I was just looking at them at the brew supply houses and not only are they over $ each I haven't yet seen them in standard 12oz sizes. The only ones I've found are 500 and 750ml. I'll probably get some 750ms sizes for splitting a brew with someone but 500 seems like an odd size.

Anyone know of there is a cheaper supply of bottles, or any supply of 12oz bottles? I've heard that you can get coors in PET but I haven't seen them at the stores here in WA.

Soda bottles are free and made of PET.

I use 2 liter soda bottles to carry beer around (I keg).

The smaller soda bottles work good, too.

Whats wrong with the 500mls? 16oz is a good size if you ask me.

I have heard you can use that plastic safe spray paint on PET soda bottles to block the light.

I might give it a try.
