This is a great site...(US based)

It has some very balanced articles as well as uncovering the agendas of the neo prohibitionists.

very interesting.

I would cross check those references, though. It's hard to get accurate information on prohibition because so many people feel so strongly about it(either anti-alcohol or pro-alcohol) that information gets skewed and clouded.
