My brew buddy and I were talking the other night about aging mead.
Does mead that has been bulk aged taste different than mead aged in the bottle?
Example: Two meads brewed on same day. three weeks in primary, racked onto fruit in the secondary, left for three weeks, placed in tertiary.
Batch one is left in teritay for six months batch two is left in tertiary for three weeks then bottled.
At the end of six months aging will both meads taste the same? Why or why not?
Thanks in advance
