Is oxidation a real worry for someone that keeps brew in the bucket for 4 weeks or less?
Back to brewing! It's been too long!!

No. Once you close the lid and fermentation begins, the co2 pushes out the o2 hanging around. If you don't open it up, and you don't otherwise aerate it, then the co2 'blanket' continues to protect it.
