I recently began kegging and for my first two kegs I was using picnic taps. I had my regulator set to 9# and everything was fine.

I just installed Perlick faucets and now my beer is pouring with way too much head; almost half the glass. Pressure is still set at 9#.

Any thoughts?

You will need to balance your system. Do a quick search on balancing a draft system and you will find lots of useful info.
