Default trying to get started

I live south of atlanta and would like ti start making my own beer.
I was hoping to find a reliable local source for my supplies. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, I am sure you will find some ATL people out there that will be able to help you find a LHBS, but if not start looking at Midwest Supply, Austin Homebrew, Northern Brewer, and Morebeer for online sources.

Yeah, +1 on Austin Homebrew Supply. They're the only source for me! The closest HBS to me is in Winooski, VT. Not that far away, but I have to drive 30 miles to the Lake Champlain ferry crossing, pay $22 for a round trip ticket, another 20 miles to the store, then back home.
