Welcome to the club, you're officially a homebrewer now!!!!

Actually many of HBT most illustrious members (yooper) got their start on here with such an "I dropped my grommet, is my beer ruined" thread.

Like my snazzy new avatar? Get Sons of Zymurgy swag, here, and brew with the best.

Revvy's one of the cool reverends. He has a Harley and a t-shirt that says on the back "If you can read this, the bitch was Raptured. - Madman

I gotta tell ya, just between us girls, that Revvy is HOT. Very tall, gorgeous grey hair and a terrific smile. He's very good looking in person, with a charismatic personality... he drives like a ****ing maniac! - YooperBrew

Thank you for that "Rainman" mental image. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.!!!

How did nobody mention the "Hand in the beer" dilemma?

Forget that, how'd anybody miss The Pol saying he licked the stem before sliding it into the orifice?

I had an uncooperative grommet on my last brew. Just rode it out and fished it out of the yeast cake at racking time. Surprisingly I grabbed that sucker on the first dive.

Losing the grommet seems to be an initiation.
