Some of my friends consider me the beer mcguiver. I will always find a way to open a beer no matter where I am. I have used lighters, edge of a dumpster, knife, another bottle, the rims on my car, the grates of a bbq grill, just about any tool in a tool box, i even used a rock once. One of my favorites is the seat belt of some cars though.

I have never thought about my ring though. It is tungnsten but seeing as we have only been married less than 2 months then I might want to hold off on that one.

I carry a bottle opener on my keys, I also have a couple flat plastic credit-card style ones that came with Budweiser aluminum 16oz 15-packs. They're nice because they're slim, effective, and travel well. And they were free, so if a buddy steals one, I don't have to punch his nads into his sinuses. Then, I've got a couple other "bar-style" metal bottle openers scattered around the house, so that I never have to walk too far.

In a pinch, I keep a flathead screwdriver in each room of the house. I just twist slightly, move to the next rib on the crown, twist slightly, move, twist, move, twist, and then pop it straight upward.

Paint opener keys have built in bottle openers. It's like they know that when you're painting, you're going to be wanting a beer.

We usually use slip-joint pliers in the garage. I had a keyring mounted one, but it disappeared after a night of too much use.

this is my favorite bottle opener. It is a real bottle opener but I still felt like I should add it here. This thing is actually made out of tool steel, has quite a bit of weight to it and is coverege under the craftsman lifetime warranty.
A friend bought it for me as a joke last christmas but it ended up being one of the best things I have got in a while.
