After a side by side taste test, it would seem that Gumball Head is a maltier beer with a little more body. Mine perhaps tastes like an Amarillo and Warrior version of Uber Hop Sun by Southern Tier...

I wonder, given that I did use 1/4lb of 120L, if the maltier taste of the Gumball Head was from the fact that its a commercial beer and the malt comes through better, or if besides a little caramel malt, there is something else in a gumball head (I've heard claims that it is basically an IPA recipe made with wheat, so perhaps some victory or munich gives it that flavor).
