I have a Hard Cider, or apple beer in a secondary and I am still getting little bubbles comming up to the top and creating some foam. I the FG was stable in the primary and I would like to bottle it, but I am concerned that when I put the sugar in for carbonation that the action that is going on right now will create to much carbonation and I will get a beer bomb or something like that. I would not want to mess up the wife's beer you know !!!!! so any help would be awsome.

I have a mead that has been doing that for months. Don't know what it is...other than entertaining. If your Gravity is still stable you are good to go. Bottle away.

I've seen this with a lot of meads and wines and think it's just suspended CO2. Fermentation should be complete but, as BK said, use the hydrometer to be sure.
