Default frozen yeast

I had ordered some yeast and when it came in my wife put it with my hops in the freezer. Can I just put it in the fridge and will it be ok?

Was it liquid or dry yeast? If it was liquid and frozen solid I would make a starter to make sure it is viable. I don't think they survive to well when frozen.

I think dry yeast may be able to take freezing better but I am not absolutely certain.
