Default Reverse Whirlpool

So, i was just wondering, do you think there is anyway of blowing all the trub to the sides of the pot?

I have a keggle, so i have a dip tube going down to the center, so i don't want all the trub to build up in the middle. Not sure if this is possible, just brainstorming

Make a centrifuge, strap your kettle down, and get the hell out of dodge.

Why don't you just make your dip tube at the edge, and create a vortex that will bring the trub to the center?

Rig up a potter's wheel to hold your kettle, and letter spin for 20 minutes. That should do it!

Short answer: No.
The reason for the cone is that the liquid on the outside is moving faster than the middle. Yes it's all at the same RPM, but a ball on the outside will travel at (say) 500 feet per minute and one at the center would be zero.

Tilt keg sideways let trub settle to one side, or more smartly would be to get a dip tube that went to the side.

Try a hop-stopper.
