I gave some Apfelwein to a friend who makes wine. She loved it, can you believe that?!!?
So I gave her the recipe to try. She wants the same carbing that I had, I used 4 oz corn sugar, but she asked if she can bottle using regular corks or does she need champagne corks. I have no idea! I just bottled like I would normally do a brew. Anybody have an idea or opinion?

hmmm....i think u should use champagne styles because the carbonation could blow the cork right out.

If she going to carbonate and she wants wine bottles she needs sparkling wine bottles with either crown caps or champagne corks with a wire basket. Regular wine bottles aren't designed for the pressure, nor are the necks designed to take sparkling wine corks.
