F that. even if she's drop dead gorgeous. 5'2, great smile, great curves... Buy me a beer every 3 or 4.

I'll be hitting that bar at the end of the night from now on.

Sure it was only 5?
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Why do you think you get a free beer if you have a couple? And you get mad if you don't? That seems weird.

used to be that 5 or 6 beers would bring a freebie, but not so much anymore. usually when the freebie came out I still would give the person the tip, but havent had that happen in a long time. think it may be due to the same laws that prevent the drown nights or at least limit them anymore.

Iv'e never had one. There was a time in college when my roommate and I had no cash and the bar didn't take CC. To this day we are the only college students in that town to actually let the bartender let us run a tab, and keep it open for a week!

Its rare a bartender doesnt buy me a beer. Usually the last time I go to them. I have a few places around town where as soon as I walk in they pour me what I want.

I used to get free beers and shots at Chinese restaurant nearby. Sometimes we even got free food - it was great! The bartender was a great guy. If you were running low on cash and were only getting a drink or two, he'd take care of you and keep bringing you drinks or beers and tell you not to worry about it. Unfortunately, the restaurant was sold and everyone who worked there quit because the new owners were rude money pinchin' jackasses. Same went for me and my friends and we don't go there anymore. At least the owners managed to keep from selling it long enough for me to turn 21 and spend a few years there.

I only get free beer at pubs if I swap it for something.
There again, it's not the done thing to tip at a pub.
You can and do every once in a while but it's not expected.
Have a beer on me.
