I am sitting here typing this enjoying a 25 oz can of Foster's and am thinking this is one good lager. I wonder what it would take to brew this at home, I don't have the extra fridge but am thinking about buying one for a kegerator/frementation chamber.
Anyone else like this stuff? I had some a few weeks ago and thought it was darn good, so I decided to go buy a little tonight. It was hot today and I am thirsty!
There is something to be said for an ice cold macrolager on a hot day like we've been having. However, it really is easier and cheaper to buy it rather than make it. Here's a good sticky with more info in it;
I agree, they're so mild it's hard to replicate without adding different favours from malt and yeast.
On the other hand, if you enjoy a bottle conditioned pale ale like coopers, homebrewing is cheap and rewarding.
