I bottled my first batch 7 days ago, and well, I couldn't wait. Opened one up and WOW!!! The carbination was perfect, the color spectacular, and the taste was beyond description. Some much for commercial beers, I'm hooked. Now it's time for the second batch.

Secondary: none
Bottled: Northern Nut Brown

Mouthfeel: 3.5/5
Carb/Head: 3/5
Taste: 2.5/5
Overall: 3/5

An overall decent beer but it has too much of a banana character, I think it's because of fermenting at too high of a temp. Tasted better as it aged, but far from perfect.

It really is amazing how relatively easy it is to brew excellent-tasting beer.

Good for you...it's damn tough to wait 3 weeks for bottles to carbonate, ain't it?

I second flingdingo! But it is very hard to keep! I'm going to start and try to brew every weekend so i can have a good supply and try to age some beers!!!
