Default First Time Brewer, Making Mead

First time brewer goes into a homebrew shop.
guy: I would like to make some mead.
shop owner: Sure.
guy: Would this be easier as an extract or all grain?

well, maybe the only mead recipe he saw was for a braggot?
Primary: English Mild
