Default fruity extract

I've asked about a fruit beer on here before and got some good more question I have....are extracts made for making soda (fruit flavored ones) equivalent to ones made for making fruit beers?

If you're asking about those little vials of flavor you can get at HBSs I think I have seen some recipes calling for their addition. I've never tried it myself, as I prefer a more natural approach to brewing ie. going through the mess and trouble of getting the real fruit in there.
Once the wind has been broken, it cannot be fixed.

I have no idea about the specific extracts you are asking about, but I have gotten pretty good results using extract sold in your local HBS.

By the way, there is a thread over on the General Techniques forum:

That goes into a lot of discussion on the use of actual fruit.
