Just got this from the Koka Booth Amphitheater events staff:

What: Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival
Where: Koka Booth Amphitheater
When: 9 Aug (I'll be home by then!!!)
Cost: $40 (VIP); $25 (Gen Adm) - On sale May 23rd
Website: http://www.beerandbourbon.com/

I'm leaning heavily on the VIP tix - 6 hrs of sampling plus the tasting class. Plus it will likely be my last major North Carolina extraviganza as I'm moving to Mass in Sept.

Saucer afterwards?

Took me a second to find the faded link for the Cary one:

I'm checking with SWMBO to see if we can do it. I'd love to if it'll fit the schedule.

I'm not sure I'll be in town, but if I am, I'm definitely interested.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't gone there yet (blocked from my work computer). I have also yet to get a thumbs up from SWMBO, but she likes all three, so I'm guessing yeah at this point.

FYI, I've been to this venue (although not this event) before and it's pretty condusive to bringing the kids along as well. We probably won't, but you definitely could if you wanted to...

That looks like it could be a lot of fun. I'll put it on the calendar and see if it passes muster.
