Just use the brown raisins. I didn't chop them very well. I think it's best not too, it might turn into mush if you boil it when the raisins are too fine.
I just redid the recipy with a few adjustments, I used two oranges this time and I used ~60 sultana's rather than 30. I also used a small teaspoon of groud cinnamon in stead of 2 sticks because I was out of sticks. I used only a small amount because as opposed to the sticks I have no way to remove this prior to fermenting the wort.
I will also be using champagne yeast rather than sherry yeast this time.
