Hello, today i bottled my first batch with my father. We used san star in the two fermenters and we took each bottle and filled it up with the water inside the fermenter shook it inside the bottles and dumped the water back into the fermenter. My question is, there were a lot of bubbles when we bottled, is this normal and will it be safe to drink in two weeks?

Don't fear the foam, but I am confused. How much star san did you use?

1 ounce in my 5 gallon fermenter. to sanitize the bottles we just would submerge them fill them with water shake around and dump out.

Your good. I always let mine air dry, although I think some people disagree with me. Not being afraid of the foam is hard to get over (at least it was for me).
