Default Help me brew today 4-21-08

as stated, I'm brewing 2 batches right now! 1 is a Kolsh from Austin Homebrew, the other is a Blond Ale also AHS.
the water is heating now, I want to do a late extract addition and I have a pound and a half of raw, unprocessed honey, I'd like to add to one or split between both, also would either of these do well with a bit of orange peel?
I have made a bunch of extract, and no matter how funky, I drink it till the keg runs dry!
thanks,
norm

The Kolsch might be good with a bit of orange.

that's what I thought, but it'll have to be "dry" as I just finished cleaning up and hopefully the yeasties are waking up right now!!
how do i measure and when would i add the orange? during the last 5 minutes? and do I just chunk in half a peel, or grate the zest?

Zest the orange part of the peel, try not to get the white part - it's the bitter part.
