When I lived in L.V., a big "slot contest" got shutdown because the casino forgot to clear the contest chips with the board. Amusing, because the contest chips were much looser than the standard chips. So, they put the standard chips back in and tried to do the contest anyway, but it was boring. The casino then tried to stop the contest and give the entry fees back, but since they hadn't filed a plan, the contestants had to keep playing!

You should see the laws governing the brothels. They're tighter than most hospitals!

All voting software should be required by law to be open code the way foss is, but not necessarily free as in beer, just as in free speech. The company will still get paid by the govt to design and improve the software, but this way each and every citizen can personally inspect what's going on behind the scenes.
