I was reading the article linked below in today's Boston Globe. Seems Boston Beer, AKA Sam Adams, is selling some of they're hops to small craft brewers to help them keep going during the shortage. Not only that, they are selling at cost. Some good guys there.

The news came out a few weeks back, there's been a couple threads about it.

Welcome to February!

This has been some massive PR for Sam Adams and pretty decent for the craft breweries that are in a pinch.

Can't blame the guy, he did put out a story from today. It's just that mainstream media has no clue what's going on when it comes to craft beer. Do yourself a favor and check out many of the beer blogs out there. They are a fantastic resource of information.

Maybe that's the real reason they did it.....hmmmmmm.....interesting........
I admit it, I give no credit to Sam Adams for anything. They want their image to be a certain way, and will do what it takes to make sure they're still everybody's favorite 'micro' brewery.

Seems to be allot of anger here towards someone who is doing good. Why?

Sure, they are trying to maintain a certain image. Exactly what business does not do this? One that is headed for trouble I say. Not quite sure what the problem there would be.

Compared to AB or Miller, they are 'Micro' no?

How does someone making beer and selling it as beer get called a 'scammer'? Can you please explain that one?

Is this all jealousy?

My investment in Sam Adams has sure payed well. Up almost 50% this year.
