Looks good! Did you get enough bittering from just whirlpool hops? I'm not a huge citra fan when it's the only hop in a beer, but that still looks like a nice beer.

I got what I wanted out of it. I wanted to a super crushable, juicy session and this is just that. You could drink it all day long. I've used this grain bill and done a few single hop beers and subbed out the Citra.

Mosaic, Azacca, Galaxy, Simcoe, El Dorado hav all been done in single hop sessions.

So, it's not bitter, it's not very high in ABV, but it's an IPA?

I don't get this...

I don't get this...

Its a sessionable take on a NEIPA. You could ramp this up to 6.5-7% very easily and add a few more hops to the whirl and dry and you'd be at a standard take on a NEIPA. Is there a BJCP category for this? No, but there isn't truly one for NEIPA's either.

but most importantly, it is drinkable

I'd love to hear notes on those other single hop versions if you took any. I'm trying to work through brewing some single hope NEIPA's but have only gotten to Citra and Nelson so far.
