Hey all,

Thinking about filtering my beer from my secondary fermenter through a 1 micron filter using a 4 gpm electronic pump vice the typical CO2 way. Has anyone done this? All I hear is about the CO2 push and nothing about using mechanical power.

Thanks,

What type of pump - is it a self priming type (like a wine pump)? That might work.

If it's a traditional impeller pump I think you will have the issue of CO2 being agitated from the beer and creating a bubble / stopping the pump often.
