Hoppy Brown Ale. And using up small amounts of hops before they go stale. Not a terrible idea.

If the 1 ounce of Cascade is still factory sealed you could probably save them.

The small additions are pellets in open bags...the 1 oz cascade I was going to just grab some from the yard, but i could just save that for a homegrown brew, with the heat waves this summer it's not the best anyway.

Just finished brewing and Changed the hops a little total about 27 IBUs, OG ended up at 1.056.

Hops
0.125 oz Warrior 60 min 11.77
0.5 oz Cascade 15 min 9.37
0.25 oz Ahtanum 5 min 1.34
0.5 oz Cascade 5 min 3.76
0.5 oz Cascade 1 min .81

Didn't have as much Ahtanum as I thought, and the Vic secret just didn't seem to fit. Adjusted in Brewers Friend for the AA on the Package, Vacuum sealed mason jars so I don't think I lost much due to age.

Also toasted the Oats yesterday 30 min @ 350F.

This turned out really nice.
I think next time I'll up the Oats to a half pound.
Some tasters wanted a bit more sweetness, could be that it was hopier than they expected or maybe toss in 2oz of honey malt?
