I tried searching but I could only find a handful of responses for this.

I do have 1/2 bbl sized stainless conicals, has anyone converted or used a conical as a mash tun? Pros and Cons? What do I need to convert it?

I am trying to get the West Point Brewing Club from extract to All Grain.

Thank you.

How would you install the false bottom? I'm not immediately picturing a way that wouldn't 1. have a huge space beneath it or 2. clog easily by being such small diameter.

Mash tun should be one of the cheaper vessels to make.... get one of the huge coolers, pots, barrels, extra.

If I was you I would just buy a large cooler. Somewhere around 100 quarts (should do most 15 gallon batches) and build a copper false bottom. It will be the cheapest and easiest way to go.
