Keep up the good work!
You know what? You're completely right about more late addition hops. I've noticed that as this ale bottle conditions the hop aroma is fading. At just 3 days in the bottle, there was very little carbonation and a really good hop nose on it. However, at this point (2 wks in bottle) the hop aroma and flavor is a bit weak. The IBU seems about right, but I think I'll change the hop schedule to something like this:
In addition, I may add some Willamette or Chinook hops in there to give it a bit more character. I have to say, though, for my first beer it's damn tasty as it is! Thanks for the tip!
