I just added some hops to my fermented wort for dry hopping today....I added some lead free metal weights purchased from a hobby shop to weigh the hops down...will this be an issue? I did boil the weights along with my muslin bag.

No such thing as fermented wort - it's called beer at that point.

;)

Many people use the weighted bag option, so you're fine. Me... well, I throw all hops in commando-style.

:D

Depends what they're made of! Any idea? Stainless is fine, lots of other stuff could be problematic. If they're bismuth fishing weights, I would really think twice about drinking it.

I put them in last night...may just remove them....I can sacrifice aroma on this batch...I have a couple of marbles work well....

I use glass marbles, or a spare stainless fitting (elbow/T/coupler).

Just fish the marbles out when cleaning the bag.

It is actually important to have the hops below the beer surface so no mold can grow on them. Leaf hops tend to float.
