Hello everyone!
I brewed my first ever batch in a 5gal BIAB on induction stove this september, and today I just finished my 20th. I rushed into all-grain so hard, because I'm an alcoholic and drink that much. (you definately should invent the tag here!) Oh, and also because I had in mind this fancy nano-brewery, which I will construct when I will brew some decent beers. I brewed them (thanks to Mysticmead, BierMunicher and KingBrian for some perfect recipies), and now its time to boost some m1ghty powah and spend a lot of money!
So, at first I was going to do a 3-vessel 1-level rig, that was highly inspired by the awesomeness of @kickflip_mj's brew rig. Then, I made some calculations and find that insanely cool project too expensive. I was already going to sell some drugs for more money, but then I discovered a report about Colorado eBIAB brewing rig somewhere here on HBT.
I looked at it and found it amazing. I would gladly order it ASAP, but I happen to live in a galaxy far, far away (somewhere alongside with bears and vodka), so the shipping costs and any possible malfunction could easily make me a poor kid again. And I also wanted it fully clamped, so...
...I had to design it from scratch, using the stuff I can possibly order from US and the other stuff that can be found here (For sure, I cant order the 55gal pot from Blichmann, because shipping costs will be more that 400$ :rockin
A bit later, I was very dissapointed to find out that here you can simply buy... nothing. We dont have tri-clamps except for some major industry in a quantity of 132189321 per order, we dont have beer pumps because vodka pours directly from the birch trees... We do have PID-controllers, but they cost exactly like the Omega ones at 1\10 quality.
So, I have to order all that fancy stainless shinings from the US. That creates some major problem - "mistakes are not an option" (c). If I forget 1 clamp, I'd have to wait for it for a month after I recieve the shipping, so 2 months from now. And our national currency is rapidly drilling the hole to the center of earth, so in a few months every clamp I forget or break will cost for me twice than now.
That's why I have to ask you, fellow homebrewers, to examine and inspect my plan and to report any flaws present or possible.
I made some renders from 3d-software to help you understand my intensions.
There is no stand and controller included, because stand will be forged with actual size measurements, and controller seems to be rather simple for me (i have some electrician trainingz). The stainless mesh "B for Basket" is also not included.
So, it will be a bottom-drained 1-vessel eBIAB fully clamped system. All the clamps and pipes are 1" and will be ordered from brewershardware. It will be heated by 3 4500W ULWD heating elements (my home nuclear reactor is obsolete so I can't get more than 15kw of power )
The red one is the 21.5x23.6 inch 40-gal pot.
The teal one is a reversed osmosis filter, which will recieve inline water. Two valves are there to pour not-filtered water for cleanup.
The blue one is a chugger central inlet pump.
The small grey pipe is a sight glass.
The big snowy pipe is a inline filter.
The big square pink one is a plate chiller from dudadiesel.
Teal valves are 1" butterfly. You close the highest and stream goes to chiller, you close the one on the right and stream goes back into kettle for recirculation and sparging. Huh, do I really need the first one?
Orange, green, yellow and pink fittings are tri-clamped fittings! :fro:
Triangle with T° signs is a RTD tri-clamp sensors from auber. One on bottom drain, one on chiller outlet.
The pipe from the chiller goes up front to easily clamp a hose and direct it either back in kettle to chill the wort harder, or in a fermenter to pour the beer in.

So, that seems to be all. I really need advice and some critisism, because every error will push me back on 1+ months waiting for new shinings to arrive.
Of course, I will report the construction process later in this thread, if everything goes smooth.
Thanks in advance!
