Does a fermometer work on a cornelius keg?

I'd imagine it would. I plan to try this pretty soon, as I have a keg and no kegerator, and I want to know the temperature so I can carb it accurately.
Next: Tousted Out Stoat, Hop Bomb, Ordinary Bitter
Bubbling: Belgian Summer Bitter, Vienna Steam Beer
Conditioning:Greenwall Lambic
Kegged: Christmas Ale
Bottle Conditioning:

Yeah, it should work. the metal will transfer temperature of the contents pretty accurately...as accurately as glass or plastic.
Primary: English Mild
On tap: Pale Ale, Lancelot's Wheat, English Brown Ale, Steam Beer, HoovNuts IPA
Bottled: MOAM, Braggot, Raspberry Melomel, Merlot, Apfelwein, Pyment, Sweet mead, Cabernet

Maybe even more accuratly. That stainless is pretty thin.
