That is starting to look really good. I like the rays cause they draw your eye to the tree BUT with that gradiant they look a little out of place. I would try changing the color of the rays to match the darkest color in the gradiant so they kind of fade in. Also run a little bit of a gaussian blur to soften the lines of the ray. Not sure how you would do that in pds though

I gotta stick with the first one of all your labels. I like the hard rays. They match the tone of the thing better: Stark, a little bit lonely. Folksy in a just barely unsettling way.

Or I could be wrong.

I really like the one with the blur! The depth really shows off the tree, while the minimal contrast near the top allows easy reading for your slogan. The blur between the rays also sets off the clean lines of the tree, which really is the focus of the label. Nice!

I agree, I thought the hard lines were fighting with the tree for attention, now they draw my eye in.

personally i liked it a lot with the spots but before the sun was added. just my two sense...either way a nice logo!

Great looking logo! Had you ever considered wrapping the banner around the frame instead of it curling in front of the frame?
