Default Simco Substitute

My HBS doesn't carry them and I wanted to make BMs wheat this weekend. Anyone know a good substitute?

maybe i'll post an ad:

per midwest:

Has a unique mahogany/walnut wood aroma, with some resinous/candilike character and some citrus. Substitutes: Pride of Ringwood with a touch of Goldings and Cascade. This hop will be hard to find in 2008.

You're SOL. Simcoe is a trademark hop that is relatively new. It was bred for it's specific flavor.

Simcoe, Sorachi Ace, and Saaz are hops that have no substitue.

According to the substitution chart in BYO this month there is no sub. There have been Simcoe hops for sale on ebay though if you want to go try and win some.

Primary - Empty
Secondary - Empty
Bottle Conditioning - None
Drinking - Peanut Butter Oatmeal Stout, Barleywine, Saison, APA, Strawberry mead
In the Works - Summer Rye for my wedding, May 15, 2010
