So after a 3+ year brewing hiatus, I've decided to once again fire up the burners and take a stab at homebrewing. My experience was limited and sadly, nothing I brewed in the past was really worth drinking. So I was stuck with 5 gallons of less than average beer. For those reasons, among others, I've decided to jump into the hobby on a scaled down size; 1 gallon batches.
I've decided to start with an Irish stout.
1.75 Briess 2-row
.25 English Roasted Barley
.25 Briess Caramel 10
.5 oz US Fuggle
And, I'm looking for some help on a yeast recommendation. With a 1 gallon batch, I'm looking at a dry yeast option. Any suggestions?
Thanks, all!
