Hey guys, looking for som advice on what to do to plug a hole on my kettle. I got a 15 Gal. SS kettle and my thermometer is just a hazard for snagging my bag. What have people used that works???

Is it in a threaded port or just a hole? If it's threaded just put a plug in there. If not there has to be a similar weldless fitting.
If it is threaded, just go to brewhardware.com and buy a 3/4" NPT stainless plug and use Teflon tape on the threads. If it is weldless, they also sell 3/4" NPT plug bolts with shouldered washers that will plug it.

Hahaha that's a way better idea then this old oily rag I have been using!

+1 on JB Weld. It works on anything.
