I need your opinions...
I brewed an all-grain clone of Zombie Dust and will be submitting it for judging in a BJCP competition soon. I am torn between putting it in as an American Pale Ale or as an American IPA. I've read the 2008 and 2015 style guides, and honestly it could technically fit in either category since it kind of straddles both styles.
It had an OG of 1.061, and FG of 1.012, so it is 6.4%ABV. According to my Beersmith program, it is about 65 IBU and about 7.6 SRM. It was all Citra hops, including a dry hop addition. Malt was a 2-row base malt and a bit of crystal and Munich added.
The bottom line is that it is either a slightly strong, slightly heavier hopped APA, or a lower ABV and less hoppy American IPA. But where do you guys think it belongs (or will do the best)?
