Not that I intend to brew up, but i was wondering how the process differs between brewing up beer and brewing up drinks like "mikes hard lemonade" and those other fruity carbonated malt beverages.

Is it much like brewing sodas? or is it more like an Ed Wort's Apfelwein process.

thanks for the help. Just something that got into my head and i couldn't understand last night.

cool thanks. Where does the lemon flavor come from though? Am i not reading something?

so pretty much all these drinks are is malted lemonades that are fermented?
