Watt limit on 120v Element connected with 12 gauge wire on 20 amp GFCI
Pretty impressed with the title myself! Tells you most!
So I have a 120v line on 12 gauge wire on a dedicated 20 amp GFCI. I see 120v elements on Amazon go into the 2000 watt levels but I always thought that 1500 or 1750 watt was the limit. Given my limits from the wiring, what are my element limits?
This is for the heat exchange tun outside the mash tun. Temps between 148-158.
Thanks!
